Granted that it is a possibility, I find it highly unlikely because Stan Lee has a big part of the movies and he never had anything to do with Venom. In fact, he was opposed to introducing the symbiotes into the series at all. Moreover, Sam Raimi (the director of the movies) has been strongly opposed to introducing the symbiotes because he too was against them. I hope that your article proves to be true because I would be very pleased to see Venom on the big screen.

Granted Venom will be in Spidey 3, it's sketchy how he'll be properly introduced. Apparently he's going to be purple and if anyone's seen That 70's Show, Eric Foreman aka Topher Grace is slated to be Venom :disbelief:

yeah i read that too... i dunno how thats gonna work... but then again... Eddie Brock wasnt an insane guy... and Topher Grace is apparently "BULKING" up for the movie... so I think it will be quite interesting... now... if he was to play carnage... that would be wierd!

Yeah that would be odd. I just pictured Eddie as a less then nice guy though, maybe it's just that I don't see Topher Grace as a genuinely evil guy since he's spent so much time as a scrawny weakling on That 70's Show. Well I'm skeptical but for the sake of the movie I hope I'm proven wrong.

He is also too thin. Venom is bulky as hell, and even if Topher bulks up for the next 2 years, it still wouldn't be enough.

I'm pretty sure they're going for Ultimate Venom here, which means it won't really be a symbiote, and Eddie's going to be a huge geek.
